Noise

Noise Reduction as a Strategic Priority

Noise reduction initiatives are an integral part of our airport’s strategy and are treated as a top priority.

1. At our airport, we conduct continuous monitoring of aircraft noise, which enables us to analyze sound levels generated by air operations in real time. Based on this data, we develop optimal procedural solutions that balance the safety of air traffic with the quality of life of residents in nearby communities.

2. Our goal is to minimize the negative impact of noise on local communities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and airport efficiency. In doing so, we foster a harmonious relationship between aviation infrastructure and the environment in which we operate.

3. It is worth emphasizing that many of our initiatives aimed at reducing noise around the airport are carried out in close cooperation with the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency. Among other things, we are jointly and progressively developing and implementing procedures designed to reduce the perceived noise of aircraft, which all aircraft operators are obliged to follow.

4. Our airport actively supports local communities by ensuring that infrastructure development and air services positively contribute to residents’ quality of life. We believe that collaboration with local residents and authorities is key to sustainable development that aligns modern transportation solutions with the needs of the community.

5. We strive to make air services accessible, convenient, and friendly – not only for passengers but also for the residents of surrounding areas. Through dialogue and joint initiatives, we aim to create a space where modernity goes hand in hand with quality of life.
