NEW! With Finnair from Wrocław to Helsinki

NEW! Finnair at Wrocław Airport. From the capital of Lower Silesia we will fly to Helsinki and further

Finnair, one of the five longest-operating airlines in the world, will fly from Wrocław. The capital of Lower Silesia is the fourth city in Poland from which we will fly to the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, and from there further to Asia or America. The first flights will start in April 2024, and the carrier has already launched ticket sales.

From Wrocław straight to the happiest country in the world. Flights to Finland, the six-time leader in the “World Happiness Report” ranking, are now available for passengers from Lower Silesia. All thanks to the new carrier – Finnair, which launches daily connections from Wrocław Airport to Helsinki.

– Finnair is one of the most important airlines in the Nordic countries. They offer flights around the world, which is why for travelers from Wrocław, they offer more opportunities to travel not only to unique corners of Northern Europe, but also to countries such as Japan, Korea or the United States – says Cezary Pacamaj, president of Wrocław Airport.

Finnair’s first flight from Wrocław to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport will take place on April 2, 2024. The carrier will operate daily. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, planes from Wrocław will take off at 5.35, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 15.10. The flight will take 2 hours and 5 minutes.

“We are delighted to introduce Wroclaw as a new destination,” says Ole Orvér, Chief Commercial Officer at Finnair. “We believe Wroclaw is not only a welcome addition for business travellers but also an intriguing leisure destination for people looking for a city break in a picturesque setting.”

Finnair is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance. It means that from April next year, carriers belonging to all three air alliances in the world will operate from Wrocław. Currently, these are: Star Alliance (including LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss) and Sky Team (including KLM).

“The presence of Finnair strengthens our position as one of the most dynamically developing regional airports in the country. We hope that both passengers traveling for tourist and business purposes will benefit from the connection to Helsinki – says Jarosław Sztucki, Sales and Marketing Director of Wrocław Airport.
