Over 2.3 million passengers in H1 2025! Record-breaking traffic at Wrocław Airport
Wrocław Airport handled 2,306,644 passengers in the first half of 2025 – a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. June marked the best month in the airport’s history, with over 550,000 travelers passing through in just 30 days.
Low-cost carriers continue to drive the highest traffic. In the first six months, more than 1.5 million passengers traveled with budget airlines – a year-over-year increase of 17%. Nearly 250,000 passengers traveling internationally chose full-service network carriers.
Notably, the Wrocław–Seoul route operated by LOT Polish Airlines is gaining popularity – 11,000 passengers used the connection in the first half of the year, 27% more than in H1 2024. The strongest growth was seen in charter flights: nearly 379,000 passengers, an impressive 25% increase year-over-year.
“Never before in our history have we surpassed two million passengers so early in the year. This is the result of a consistently expanding and attractive flight network. Our summer schedule alone features 11 new destinations. The airport is growing in every respect, which makes us very proud – especially as we’re able to carry out infrastructure expansion despite record-high traffic,” said Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport.
A strong start to the holiday season
June marks the beginning of the high season at Wrocław Airport – clearly reflected in numbers. Over the 30 days, the airport welcomed 553,484 passengers and handled 4,234 aircraft operations. Among the most popular summer destinations were Zadar, Rome, and Malta – each chosen by over 10,000 passengers.
