The tender for the terminal expansion project has been launched
Tender Announced for the Architectural and Functional Concept Development and Project Documentation for the Expansion and Redevelopment of Wrocław Airport Terminal
The subject of the tender procedure is the comprehensive development of the architectural and functional concept and project documentation for the expansion and redevelopment of the Wrocław Airport terminal.
The winner of the tender will be responsible for preparing the required concepts and project documentation for the investment, including the redevelopment and expansion of the passenger terminal in the eastern and western directions, the construction of a multi-level parking garage, a facility for charging ground service vehicles, site development, the redevelopment of the airport entrance gate at Skarżyńskiego Street, and the inclusion of a departure pier in the required concepts.
– We are continuing the largest investment program in our airport’s history, which began last year. The ongoing redevelopment of the operational area was the first step towards development; now it’s time for the next stages – preparing for the terminal expansion and the construction of a multi-level parking garage. Everything we plan and implement is done with our passengers in mind, ensuring the highest level of travel comfort they are accustomed to in Wrocław – emphasizes Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport.
The winner of the tender will also be responsible for obtaining the necessary decisions, agreements, permits, and approvals for investment tasks, as well as providing design supervision for each construction project within the expansion.
– We are entering a very intensive period involving the redevelopment of both the operational area of the airport and the terminal. If the entire tender process goes smoothly, our passengers will experience the first positive changes in the second half of next year. According to preliminary plans, the entire process will conclude with the commissioning of the expanded terminal in the first half of 2029 – highlights Cezary Pacamaj, Vice President of Wrocław Airport, responsible for investment oversight.
Bidders have until March 5, 2025, to submit their offers.
