From Wrocław to Rijeka, Croatia – new connection from Wrocław Airport

The unique Korzo promenade, the majestic Trsat Castle, the leaning church tower, and beaches with crystal-clear water – all this and much more awaits tourists in Rijeka, Croatia. Starting June next year, you’ll be able to fly directly to Croatia’s third-largest city from Wrocław Airport.

Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, where Rijeka is located, is one of Croatia’s most diverse regions. Its variety makes it an excellent choice for both summer seaside relaxation and active mountain holidays.

“Flights to Croatia were one of the bestsellers at Wrocław Airport this year. From June to the end of August, nearly 50,000 passengers traveled to/from Croatia. That’s why we’re thrilled that Ryanair is expanding this destination by launching a new connection from the capital of Lower Silesia. There are still a few months to go before the summer season kicks off, but we already know that 2025 will bring an exciting summer,” emphasizes Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport.

Croatia has long been associated with guaranteed sunny weather and exceptional beaches. However, for those who prefer mountain excursions over lazy days on the beach, Gorski Kotar, located not far from Rijeka, awaits. Known as the “Green Heart of Croatia,” it boasts kilometers of trekking trails, and relatively low tourist traffic, offering a breathtaking experience for everyone.

Rijeka is the fourth Croatian city you can fly to from Wrocław Airport together with destinations such as Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar. The inaugural flight to Rijeka is scheduled for June 2. The approximately 90-minute flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays.
