Temporary passport at Wrocław Airport

Wrocław Airport has joined the group of airports in Poland that offer temporary passport service point. From Monday, April 28, travelers facing urgent situations can obtain a temporary passport directly at the airport. All that is required is a valid airline ticket and an identity document.

This solution, already successfully implemented at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, has also proven effective in Kraków, Katowice, and Gdańsk, where more than 34,000 temporary passports have been issued in total.

A temporary passport is issued after verifying the traveler’s identity and citizenship. The service point is operated by employees of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office in Wrocław.

The point is located in the passenger terminal, in the public area near the airport information desk and is open from Monday to Friday 7:30-15:30. Temporary passports are issued based on data available in the Passport Documents Register, the PESEL register, and the Identity Card Register. A photo for the document is taken on-site. The validity period of a temporary passport is individually adjusted to the traveler’s situation and can range from 1 day up to a maximum of 365 days.
