Ryanair announces fourth new route for summer 2027. Direct flights from Wrocław to Faro, Portugal!

Ryanair has announced another new route from Wrocław Airport for the summer 2027 season. Just days after unveiling flights to Birmingham, Burgas and Catania, the Irish airline has confirmed the launch of direct services to Faro in southern Portugal. The first flight on the new route is scheduled for 30 March 2027.

Faro is the fourth new destination announced by Ryanair from Wrocław for next summer. The new route will provide passengers with direct access to the Algarve, one of Portugal’s most popular tourist regions. Located on the country’s southern coast, the Algarve attracts visitors with its wide sandy beaches, distinctive cliffs and charming seaside towns. Thanks to its mild climate, the region is also an attractive destination outside the peak summer holiday season.

The flight schedule has been designed to accommodate both short breaks and longer holidays on the Atlantic coast. Services operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays will allow passengers to plan their trips flexibly, while the launch date means travellers can explore southern Portugal as early as the beginning of spring.

“Portugal is one of the destinations that attracts particularly strong interest from our passengers. We can also see this in the performance of our existing routes to Porto and Lisbon. We are therefore pleased to be expanding our flight offering to Portugal even further. Faro is also the fourth new Ryanair destination announced for next summer. This is very good news for us, especially as every additional direct connection creates more travel opportunities not only for residents of Wrocław, but for the entire Lower Silesia region,” says Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport.

Faro itself, the capital of the Algarve region, can serve both as a holiday destination and as a starting point for exploring Portugal’s southern coast. The popular resorts of Albufeira and Lagos are located nearby, as is Tavira, known for its traditional Portuguese architecture.

Another major attraction in the area is the Ria Formosa Natural Park, which features extensive lagoons, islands and sandy beaches.

The first flight from Wrocław to Faro is scheduled for Tuesday, 30 March 2027. The route will operate twice a week, with tickets available for purchase on the airline’s website.
