Marrakesh – a New Destination from Wrocław Airport

Wrocław Airport is expanding its route network with a new destination. Starting on 25 October, passengers will be able to fly directly from the capital of Lower Silesia to Marrakesh, Morocco. The flights will be operated by Ryanair twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays.

The new connection will allow residents of Lower Silesia and neighbouring regions to travel conveniently to one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities. Marrakesh attracts visitors with its oriental architecture, colourful bazaars, distinctive cuisine and mild climate, making it an appealing destination also during the autumn and winter season.

Two weekly flights will enable passengers to plan both short weekend breaks and longer stays. Flights on Fridays and Sundays will be an attractive option for those seeking relaxation, new experiences and destinations that offer an escape from the colder months in Poland.

“Marrakesh is the second Moroccan city, after Agadir, to be added to our route network. It is diverse, full of energy and offers sunny weather at a time when autumn begins in Poland. Marrakesh is one of Morocco’s most important tourist destinations. Its most famous landmark is Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which comes alive in the evenings with market stalls, performers and the aromas of local dishes. The city is also a convenient starting point for trips to the Atlas Mountains and for further travel across the southern part of the country.

Flights to Marrakesh will be Ryanair’s second new route for this year’s winter season. For the past few weeks, the Irish airline’s booking system has also featured a connection from Wrocław to Madrid. Flights to the Spanish capital will operate from 26 October three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
