- One new aircraft, seven new routes, and increased flight frequency on two existing routes from Wrocław in winter 2025
- 500,000 additional seats annually and a modernized Airbus A321neo from summer 2025
Wizz Air has announced the further expansion of its base in Wrocław, introducing seven new routes, supported by an additional state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft in winter 2025.
The new routes will connect the capital of Lower Silesia with seven European cities. Wizz Air will operate flights from Wrocław to Basel (Switzerland) and London Gatwick (United Kingdom) four times a week, to Bucharest (Romania), Madrid (Spain), and Nice (France) three times a week, as well as to Catania (Italy) and Gran Canaria (Spain) twice a week. Tickets are already available for purchase on wizzair.com and the official WIZZ app, with prices starting from PLN 109.*
From December 2025, a second Airbus A321neo will be stationed in Wrocław, allowing Wizz Air to operate a total of 17 routes to 12 countries from Wrocław and double the number of available seats. Wizz Air will also strengthen Poland’s connections with Romania, contributing to closer ties between Poland and this dynamic European market. The expansion of the Wrocław base is also linked to fleet modernization, with one aircraft being replaced by an Airbus A321neo from Summer 2025.
During a press conference in Wrocław, Piotr Trawka, Network Officer at Wizz Air, said:
„We are delighted to announce the expansion of our Wrocław offer with seven new, exciting routes. We continue to provide travelers with affordable direct connections to many destinations in Europe and beyond, enabling our passengers to discover new places and enjoy unforgettable experiences. Poland remains a key market for Wizz Air. Thanks to the new routes and the addition of the Airbus A321neo aircraft to our Wrocław base, we are doubling the number of seats, offering more affordable travel options, and creating new jobs. This will allow us to increase our market share in Wrocław to 22% in winter 2025. Our modern and fuel-efficient fleet is proof of our commitment to sustainable development. We look forward to welcoming more passengers on board and further supporting Poland’s economic growth.“
„The second Wizz Air aircraft in Wrocław base is great news not only for Wrocław Airport but also for all passengers using our airport. They will gain direct connections to very attractive European capitals and destinations that enjoy high traveler interest all year round. For Wrocław Airport, this is particularly good news as it coincides with the ongoing redevelopment of the operational area, which will facilitate the handling of the growing number of passengers and air connections,” emphasized Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport.
