Nearly one million passengers were served by Wroclaw Airport in June and July 2024. Only in July over 518,000 travelers used the services of the airport, which is over 6<\/strong>\"\"<\/strong>0,000 more than a year earlier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As many as 997,291 passengers used the services of Wroclaw Airport in the first two summer months of 2024. This is the record traffic at Wroclaw Airport so far. For the first time in history, the number of travelers served during one month exceeded half a million.<\/p>\n

Significant increases in July were recorded in all areas: traditional, low-cost and charter, however the charter flights have seen the largest increases. Over 170,000 passengers used the services of travel agencies and tour operators, which is almost 25% more than in the same period last year. The most popular destinations for organized holidays were Turkey, Greece and Egypt.<\/p>\n

– The dynamic development of the connection network and increases in the number of passengers are no longer a surprise and have become a permanent trend. We are even more pleased with the fact that the operational capacity of Wroclaw Airport will soon also increase. Soon we will sign a contract with a partner who will modernize the operational part of our airport, which will facilitate the further growth in the future<\/em> – emphasizes Cezary Pacamaj, vice-president of the management board of Wroclaw Airport.<\/p>\n

Out of 52 connections offered by low-cost carriers, as many as 35 recorded a load factor of over 90%. The most frequently chosen destination by our passengers in July 2024 was Great Britain, followed by Italy and Spain.<\/p>\n
