Wichtige Informationen – Covid-19, Quarantäne

🔹We kindly ask all passengers departing from Wrocław to the Non Schengen countries to bring their passport, which will speed up document control at automatic border control gates.

QUARANTINE

ATTENTION! According to the REGULATION OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS of June 23, 2021, new regulations regarding quarantine upon arrival in Poland apply.

ARRIVALS FROM NON-SCHENGEN AREA (except from Ireland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Turkey).
Also valid for passengers who started their journey from the territory of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Republic of India, South Africa)

🔹 All passengers subject to a mandatory 10-day quarantine.  They can be released from quarantine after presenting a negative coronavirus test result performed no earlier than 7 days after their arrival in Poland.

🔹 Exceptions are passengers who are fully vaccinated (full vaccination means a minimum of 14 days from complete vaccination, i.e. both doses of coronavirus vaccine (in case of a two-dose vaccine) or one dose (in case of a single-dose vaccine) confirmed by a vaccination certificate (vaccine must be approved for use in the European Union) or if they overcame COVID-19 within last 6 months and have a medical certificate.

🔹Exempt from quarantine are passengers arriving from the Non-Schengen area who, after arrival, stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland for no longer than 24 hours and have an air ticket confirming departure from the territory of the Republic of Poland within 24 hours from the moment of arrival.

🔹Child: release from quarantine is for child up to 12 years of age traveling with adult who is fully vaccinated.

🔹Child: release from quarantine is for child up to 12 years traveling taken care of an airline representative.

ARRIVALS FROM SCHENGEN AREA AND IRELAND, BULGARIA, CROATIA, CYPRUS

🔹All passengers are sent to a mandatory 10-day quarantine, from which a negative coronavirus test result performed no later than 48 hours before landing in Wrocław may be released. The test can also be done after landing in Wrocław, before crossing the border / sanitary control.

🔹Exceptions are passengers who are fully vaccinated (full vaccination means a minimum of 14 days from complete vaccination, i.e. both doses of coronavirus vaccine (in case of a two-dose vaccine) or one dose (in case of a single-dose vaccine) confirmed by a vaccination certificate (it must be approved for use in the European Union) or if they overcame COVID-19 within last 6 months and have a medical certificate.

ARRIVALS FROM TURKEY

🔹From July 10, 2021, all passengers landing from Turkey can be released from quarantine after presenting a negative coronavirus test result. The test must be performed at the airport upon arrival, before crossing the border. Passengers who do not submit a negative test result at the border control and are sent to quarantine may take the test within 48 hours after landing and reduce the quarantine if the test is negative.

 

DEPARTURES

Quick antigen tests are performed for all passengers departing from Wrocław.

For whom: passengers departing from Wroclaw and for passengers from other airports and people using a different mode of transport
Location: passenger terminal, general zone (near DEPARTURE entrance)
Opening hours: every day, during the check-in period (3 hours before departure)
The waiting time for the result: 15 minutes from the date of the test
The cost of the test: PLN 160 per person with a certificate in English (payment: card/cash)

QUICK ANTIGEN TEST

ARRIVALS

Quick antigen tests are performed for all passengers arriving to Wrocław. There are 3 options that guarantee either the avoidance of quarantine (OPTION 1) or removal from the quarantine imposed during border or sanitary inspection upon arrival in Poland (OPTION 2 and 3).

  • OPTION 1 (RECOMENDED)

For whom: for arriving from Schengen countries and Ireland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Turkey
Location: passenger terminal, arrival zone before border/sanitary control
Opening hours: daily, after each arrival
The waiting time for the result: 15 minutes from the moment of performing the test
When test result is negative: no quarantine imposed, fast border/sanitary inspection procedure (fast track)
The cost of the test: PLN 200 per person with a certificate and release from quarantine (payment: card/cash)

  • OPTION 2 

For whom: for everyone / passengers landing from Non-Schengen (apart from Ireland Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia and Turkey) countries will be released from quarantine after presenting a negative test result performed not earlier than 7 days after arrival.
Location: passenger terminal,  free access area (after passing the border/sanitary control and leaving the baggage claim area,
head towards COVID TEST CENTER according to the signage in the terminal)
Opening hours: every day, after each arrival
The waiting time for the result: 15 minutes from the moment of performing the test
When the result is negative: removal from the quarantine imposed during border/sanitary control upon arrival in Wrocław
(note: longer waiting times for border checks related to quarantine alert procedures are possible)
The cost of the test: PLN 220/person with a certificate (payment: card/cash)

Opening hours: every day, after each arrival
The waiting time for the result: 15 minutes from the moment of performing the test
When the result is negative: removal from the quarantine imposed during border or sanitary control after arrival in Poland at the airport in Warsaw.
The cost of the test: PLN 200 / person with a certificate (payment: card/cash)

COVID-19 AND QUARANTINE TEST REQUIREMENTS

ALBANIA
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR  test performed up to 72 hours before entry or or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

BULGARIA
Entry to Bulgaria is possible under the following conditions:
1. Upon presentation of a valid EU COVID digital certificate or an equivalent document containing the same data as the EU digital certificate. Otherwise, the passenger will be quarantined for 10 days. The quarantine may be lifted upon submission of an electronic document proving the negative test result carried out within 24 hours of entering Bulgaria.
2. On the basis of a document confirming a negative result of the PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before entering the country or a negative result of the rapid antigen test for COVID-19 carried out up to 48 hours before entering the country, counted from the date of the test entered in the document.
The above obligation does not apply to children under 12 years of age.

CROATIA
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR performed up to 72 hours before entry or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

CYPRUS
Tests: No obligation
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

EGYPT
Tests: negative PCR test result up to 72 hours prior to entry.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

FRANCE
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR or antigen test performed up to 72 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

GERMANY
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR  test performed up to 72 hours before entry or or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

GREECE
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR  test performed up to 72 hours before entry or or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

ITALY
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

ISLAND
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID in the past 180 days.
Quarantine: passengers may be quarantined upon arrival.

IRELAND
From 19th July 2021 an obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR test performed up to 72 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID in the past 180 days.
Additional requirements: Travelers are required to complete the Passenger Locator Form.

MALTA
Passengers over 12 years of age will only be able to travel to Malta if they provide a certificate of the full vaccination (double dose or single for Johnson & Johnson) made at least 14 days before entering Malta.

NETHERLANDS
Tests: No obligation
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

NORWAY

SPAIN
Tests: No obligation
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

SWEDEN
Tests: negative result of the PCR, LAMP or ANTIGEN test performed up to 48 hours before entry (not applicable to Swedish citizens)
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

TUNISIA
It is obligatory to present a PCR test with a QR code, performed no earlier than 72 hours before departure. This also applies to vaccinated and convalescent people.

TURKEY
Obligation to present one of the following documents:
– negative result of a PCR  test performed up to 72 hours before entry or or antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry;
– valid proof of vaccination;
– valid proof of recovery from COVID.
Quarantine: No obligation to quarantine.

UKRAINE
Tests: negative result of the PCR or antigen test performed up to 72 hours before entery to the country. Passengers vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine in the case of a two-dose vaccine or one dose in the case of a single-dose vaccine are exempt from the obligation to perform the tests. If the conditions are not met, the passenger will not be allowed to get on the plane.
Ukrainian citizens can enter the country without presenting the test results, but they will be sent to quarantine.
Quarantine: In the absence of a test or vaccination, a citizen of Ukraine and holder of a permanent residence permit can install the Vdoma application and go on a 14-day self-isolation.
Additional requirements (does not apply to passengers with Ukrainian citizenship): Insurance policy covering the costs related to COVID-19 treatment and possible observation in a medical facility (quarantine). The policy must be purchased from a company registered in Ukraine.
Testing, vaccinations and quarantine are not required for children under 12 years of age.

UNITED KINGDOM
Travellers flying from Poland will not have to undergo quarantine on arrival in England or Scotland and a Covid-19 test on day 8 after arrival if:
– Have been fully vaccinated with a product approved for circulation in the European Union (previously only vaccination under the UK vaccination programme exempted them from quarantine)
– They have not been in a Red List country in the last 10 days before arriving in England or Scotland.
Fully vaccinated means they received their last dose of approved vaccine at least 14 days before the date of arrival in England or Scotland. The day they received their last dose of vaccine does not count as one of the 14 days.
You must still take the test and show a negative result before departure.

Tests: Obligation to show a negative result of the PCR, LAMP or ANTIGEN test performed no later than 72 hours before entry. The obligation to perform the tests also on the second and eighth day of quarantine.
Quarantine: All passengers are required to undergo a 10-dayin a declared place. Additional requirements: Everyone coming to the country is required to fill in the location form no earlier than 48 hours before arrival.

Please note that you can only enter the UK from Poland on the basis of an ID card until September 30, 2021. From October 1, the only document entitling you to cross the border will be your passport.
