Registered and carry-on baggage: limits

The most common free registered baggage allowance:

Flights to Europe:
- Economy class - 20 kg (44 lbs.)
- Business class - 30 kg (66 lbs.)

Flights to the USA:
- Economy and business class - 2 pieces of baggage up to 32 kg (70 lbs.) each of a maximum size (length + width + height) not exceeding 158 cm (62 in.).

The most common free carry-on baggage allowance: One piece of baggage of 6 kg (13 lbs.) in weight and maximum dimensions (length + width + height) not exceeding 55x40x20 cm (22x16x8 in.)

As carry-on baggage you may also carry:
- small handbag;
- a coat or blanket;
- umbrella or walking stick;
- camera or binoculars;
- collapsible wheelchair or a pair of crutches for a disabled passenger;
- food for babies, a basket or folding pushchair.

Flights with Ryanair:
Registered baggage allowance is 15 kg (33 lbs.).
Carry-on baggage allowance: one piece of 10 kg (22 lbs.) and dimensions not exceeding 55cm x 40cm x 20 cm.

Baggage: restrictions related to safety

In accordance with security rules, passengers are not allowed to carry the following products:

In the registered baggage:
- explosives and fireworks;
- inflammables, liquid or solid;
- radioactive, toxic, or corrosive substances;
- compressed gases;
- other dangerous articles, e.g. with a strong magnetic field.

In the carry-on baggage:
- weapons or weapon parts;
- explosives, fireworks, ammunition;
- sharp or pointed objects, e.g. scissors;
- inflammables, liquid or solid;
- solvents, paints, matches;
- radioactive, toxic, or corrosive substances;
- compressed gases;
- other dangerous articles, e.g. with a strong magnetic field.

Caution: Baggage should not be left untended at the airport - passenger safety may depend on it.

When departing, please inform the check-in staff of any fragile or valuable contents in the registered baggage. It is advisable to place full address information on a label and inside the baggage to facilitate its identification in case of loss.
