The prominent historian Norman Davies called Wroclaw the "Flower of Europe", a microcosm, in which Polish, German, Czech and Jewish traditions meet and coexist.
Over the generations this ethnic and cultural pluralism has created a city which is a bridge joining different cultures: open, friendly, and hospitable to all
visitors. The City of Meetings was created, to which one wants to return.
The location of Wroclaw, in the very heart of Central Europe, is valued by tourists and investors. However, a convenient location is not enough to open a city to
newcomers and make visiting it easier. For that, among other things, a modern passenger terminal is necessary, a terminal which connects comfortably to the city
center and which, as a gateway to the Lower Silesian region, will also be its showcase.
The needs connected with a dynamic increase in traveling by air and the perspective of organizing UEFA EURO 2012™ in Wroclaw brought about the necessity of investments in order to continue developing the infrastructure of the airport.
