Wrocław Airport saw a 3,1% increase in traffic in August welcoming a total of 380 000 passengers. These figures were stimulated mainly by the development of international network traffic, charter and low-cost traffic. The number of passengers travelling on domestic routes increased by 11,6%. The charter traffic saw a 4,4% increase in August. The most popular destinations were Tenerife, Lisbon, Rome and Malaga.

Wizzair airlines have announced a new connection from Wroclaw to Odessa. The new service will commence on 1 November and will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The tickets are available at www.wizzair.com.

The growth in number of passengers can be attributed to a rise in international network traffic (15%),  low-cost traffic (1%) and charter traffic (2,4%). The airport handled this year more than 2 000 000 passengers.
