Messenger and fanpage application on Facebook

Information concerning the processing of personal data within the Messenger application and the fanpage of Wrocław Airport on Facebook.

In accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 94/46/EC, i.e. the so-called “GDPR”, below we present the information on the processing of personal data in connection with the use of the fanpage of Port Lotniczy Wrocław S.A. (Wrocław Airport)

1. DATA CONTROLLER

We would like to inform you that the Controller of your personal data is Port Lotniczy Wrocław S.A. with its seat in Wrocław at ul. Graniczna 190, registered in the District Court for Wrocław-Fabryczna in Wrocław, VI Economic Department of the National Court Register under the KRS [National Court Register] number: 0000086071. 2. DATA PROTECTION INSPECTOR

The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Inspector, who can be contacted by e-mail at the following address: [email protected], also by post to the address indicated above with the inclusion of the DPI (IOD) notice.

3. CATEGORIES OF PERSONS WHOSE DATA IS PROCESSED

As part of running our fanpage, we process personal data about people who visit our fanpage, subscribe by clicking the “Like” or “Follow” icon, post comments under our posts and send private messages and use Facebook Messenger.

4. PURPOSES AND BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

We process personal data of persons indicated in point 3 for the following purposes:

  • to run our fanpage on Facebook under the terms and conditions set by Facebook and to inform through Facebook about our activities, events and to promote our services. The legal basis for such processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows us to promote our own activities,
  • to provide information, answer questions and respond to complaints. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows us to fulfil our legitimate purposes of communicating with persons in the above-mentioned scope.
  • to analyse the functioning and use of the fanpage by the user, which is our legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
  • to organise and conduct contests, award prizes. The basis for processing is your consent to the extent and for the purpose stated in your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

5. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

We would like to inform you that in the case of data processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. However, the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before it is withdrawn.

6. CATEGORIES OF DATA

In connection with the purposes and basis for the processing of the data referred to in point 4, the Controller will process in particular identification data such as full name, data published by you on Facebook and in the Facebook Messenger application. Additionally, Facebook provides data regarding visibility of our posts, their range – these are statistical data about the visitors of our fanpage.

7. DATA RECIPIENTS

We would like to inform you that the Controller provides the data to the owner of Facebook in accordance with the data rules defined by Facebook. You can read the rules at the address: https://www.facebook.com/about.privacy

Furthermore, data may also be disclosed  to public authorities and entities performing public tasks within the scope and for the provisions of the law.

8. REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, due to the functionality of Facebook and Facebook Messenger, it is integral to the subscription, adding comments or sending messages.

9. TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY

The controller does not plan to transfer data to third countries. However, due to the specific nature of Facebook, it is possible to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. The basis for such action are the contractual clauses applied by Facebook, approved by the European Commission and the European Commission Executive Decision of 12 July 2016, the so-called Privacy Shield.

10. PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

The period of personal data processing is related to the purpose and legal basis of the processing, therefore:

  • your data, which is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Controller, will be processed until you object effectively or the purpose of the processing ceases.
  • the statistical data is processed for a period of 2 years,
  • data processed on the basis of consent will be processed until consent is withdrawn.

11. RIGHTS OF PERSONS WHOSE DATA IS PROCESSED

We would like to inform you that in relation to the processing of your data by us, you have the right to access your personal data and, subject to the provisions of law, the right to rectify, delete, limit the processing and the right to object.

If you believe that your data is being processed in violation of the law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

12. AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

We would like to inform you that your data will not be subject to automated decision making and will not be profiled.
